Ernesto Bustamante, PhD

Scientific foundation

Trained as a molecular biologist and biochemist, Bustamante earned his PhD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His scientific career has included research and academic appointments in the United States and Peru, with work spanning cancer metabolism, mitochondrial biology and biotechnology.
